Breisgau Wine Trail

The Breisgau Wine Trail connects the Markgräfler Wiiwegli (Weil am Rhein to Freiburg-St.Georgen) with the Ortenau Wine Trail (Diersburg to Gernsbach).

Its distinguishing mark is the green grape in a red diamond on a white background. This easy trail is around 99 kilometers long and can be hiked over six stages. Wine connoisseurs enjoy the wonderful views of vineyards, the Vosges mountains and the Black Forest as well as the great wines. In the villages along the way, there are cozy inns and places to stop for a bite to eat.

Further information can be found on the homepage of the Black Forest Association under Breisgauer Weinweg.

The picture shows signposts on the Breisgau Wine Trail. They indicate the nearest towns and distances and all bear the Breisgau Wine Trail's distinctive symbol, a bunch of grapes in a red diamond.
